Festival
We are excited to invite you to our small gathering for all outsider music lovers.
Yes, we're back, the fifth edition of ZMAR festival will take place from August 7th to 9th. It's wild to think that what started as a garden party for a handful of friends is now reaching this milestone!
The festival takes place at a former sandstone quarry. Please watch your step and do not explore any areas beyond the warning tape. Camping on the cliffs is strictly prohibited. Precise coordinates and the festival area map will be published before the event.
The music will start on Friday at 7 PM and finish on Sunday afternoon. There will be two stages: the main dance floor and the magic chill-out tent.
We have prepared two campsites for you, offering plenty of space for everyone.
Campervans are welcome too in our designated camping areas, provided there’s enough space for everyone to breathe and stretch out. Since vans are a bit bigger than your average tent, we kindly ask you to aim for the perimeter or the edges of the camping area.
Toilets and washing water will be available in both campsites. Drinking water is available in the main festival area - bring your water bottle. You can also look forward to our outdoor shower.

There will be parking available directly next to the site. However, access is via a dirt road, so it's best to leave your sports car at home or park in the village. Also, be aware that there may be traffic police present – make sure you're sober.
Looking for a carpool? Check out the Zmar Telegram channel.
Our bar and kitchen team is growing and becoming more experienced year on year. We can't wait to see what they've prepared for us this year. Rumor has it that the kimchi grilled cheese sandwich is making comeback, alongside many other exciting veggie/vegan meals, as well as ice cream and morning coffee.
The bar will be open non-stop throughout the weekend.
Payments are made in cash only, primarily in CZK, but in some cases we also accept EUR in reasonable amounts. The closest ATM is in the next village Budyně nad Ohří (6 km).
Remember, we are in an old sandstone quarry. Please be careful, respect your surroundings, know your limits, and look out for each other, so that we can continue to visit this place year after year.
It should be very hot this weekend, so stay hydrated, find shade when you need it, and don’t forget your sunscreen.
Please no open fire in the camps, there will be a designated fireplace in the quarry.
It is possible that the police will be patrolling the road and parking lot. Please sit behind the wheel only sober. The Czech Republic has a zero blood alcohol limit!
